Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) announced a revamped initiative to expand its grassroots reach across the greater-Houston area through the Partners in Development program. With guidance and input of various external stakeholders, the program will be accessible to all youth clubs in the greater Houston region.
In order to serve the entire youth soccer ecosystem HDFC and the Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club mutually agreed to end the current license agreement that expires this summer. The Dynamo and Dash thank Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club, newly rebranded as HTX Soccer, for their support of HDFC and look forward to working with them and other clubs across the region through the Partners in Development program.
The program aims to create equitable access to the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash through programming available to youth players of all ages at Shell Energy Stadium, Houston Sports Park and throughout the city. Parents, coaches and administrators will also benefit from educational resources, development clinics and other educational programs.
HDFC is committed to making sure players are given an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of top coaches within the organization through an existing talent identification pipeline that is accessible with free programming at the grassroots level.
Parents will be able to further their knowledge of the sport by attending training sessions and educational courses. Coaches will be supported by the Club through coaching education and mentorship with coaching staff within the Club.
