Every gameday, you can count on Amy Taylor to be one of the first fans through the gates ready to cheer on the Dash. Taylor, who is entering her third season as a Dash365 season ticket member, says she enjoys arriving early to matches to soak in the game day atmosphere.
Taylor says the friendships she has made during her time as season ticket holder is one of the things she cherishes the most about her experience as a Dash365 member. Most games, Taylor is joined by her friend Paula Watson, who is also a Dash365 member. A large part of the reason Taylor likes to arrive early to matches is to be able to catch up with friends before first kick.
Last season, Taylor was part of the record-breaking crowd at Shell Energy Stadium for the first ever playoff game for the Houston Dash. Taylor, who due to the COVID-19 pandemic, watched from afar when the Dash won the 2020 Challenge Cup, said experiencing the playoff game last season quickly became her favorite Dash memory so far.
Taylor is a medical librarian for a large hospital system in the area and has lived in the greater-Houston area since 1989. Wednesday afternoon Taylor will be honored at the SeatGeek Member of the Match when the Dash take on the Kansas City Current in the opening match of the 2023 Challenge Cup.
