In preparation for Copa de Lone Star, Manchester City have found a home in H-Town for the beginning of their 2022-23 preseason training. Starting their week at Houston Sports Park, City spent their matchday minus one session at the home stadium of the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash.
"It’s been fantastic. We’ve trained at Houston Dash - great facilities," said City defender, Kyle Walker. "The jetlag took a few days and the heat is very different to Manchester weather, where it's always raining. It’s been good and we hope to give the fans something good to see tomorrow."
"Thank you so much to the Dynamo. The hotel was incredible, their facilities have been fantastic," said City manager, Pep Guardiola. "It is... quite hot!"
