Houston Dash goalkeeper Bianca Henninger was named to the Mexico Women’s National Soccer Team for a two-game series against the U.S. Women’s National Team on April 5 and at BBVA Compass Stadium on April 8, the Federación Méxicana de Fútbol (FMF) announced earlier today.
The goalkeeper joined the Mexico WNT earlier this year for the 2018 Turkish Women’s Cup where Mexico went undefeated in group play and finished as the runner up of the tournament.
Henninger will be available for selection on Friday as Houston hosts Utah Royals FC in the new club’s first visit to BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets for the match start at $19 and are available here.
