Carli Lloyd was named to the CONCACAF Best XI after she scored two goals for the club and added a two more goals and two assists for the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2017.
In addition to her time in the NWSL, the forward spent the first half of the year with Manchester City Women’s FC, where she won the Women’s FA Cup and appeared in the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Lloyd is a three-time honoree and has been named to the Best XI each year since the inaugural list in 2015. The two-time FIFA Women's Player of the Year will join new Dash head coach Vera Pauw at BBVA Compass Stadium for Houston's fifth season in the NWSL next March.
