Ahead of Sunday's Pups to the Pitch game, presented by Houston Methodist, Dash players and staff showed their competitive sides as they started a Twitter "dog wars" to compete for cutest pup. We've laid out the battle for you below:
It all started when forward Veronica Latsko posted pictures of her best four-legged pal Duke and challenged midfielder Haley Hanson to a "battle of the cutest doge."
Not one to back down from a challenge, Haley replied with images of her dynamic doggie duo Scout and Ellie, the "GOODEST OF GIRLS."
The battle grew when goalkeeper Sammy Jo Prudhomme entered the battle with her corgi trio.
In a bold move, team athletic trainer Sam sent this photo of her pup Flower directly to the Dash digital team (look at that smile)!
Unfortunately, no pup has been awarded the title of "cutest doge" as all participants have won us over.
