Canada
Defenders Lindsay Agnew and Allysha Chapman as well as forward Nichelle Prince will join the Canadian Women's National Team for this year's WCQ. Coming off a 1-0 victory over Brazil last month, in which Prince scored the match's lone goal, the Canadians enter the CONCACAF Women's Championship ready to secure their seventh consecutive World Cup appearance. The team kicks off their WCQ campaign on Friday, October 5 against Jamaica in a Group B matchup.
Mexico
Goalkeeper Bianca Henninger joins the Mexican Women's National Team for this year's games as the team comes off a gold medal from the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla this summer, where Henninger secured a shut out in the second half of the final. Most recently, the team defeated West Ham's U-15 Academy team 5-2 on September 28. El Tri kicks off their run on Thursday, October 4 against rivals the United States in a Group A matchup.
