Houston Dash defenders Lindsay Agnew, Allysha Chapman and forward Nichelle Prince were named to the Canadian Women’s National Team roster by head coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller, .
Prince scored the game-winning goal in Canada’s 1-0 victory over Brazil on Sept. 2 in Ottowa. Chapman was named the player of the game after earning her 53rd cap with the senior squad. The duo joined Agnew in Canada’s final match prior to the regional tournament.
Agnew joined Houston in the offseason via a trade with the Washington Spirit on Jan. 16 and the defender tallied an assist in 12 appearances for the Dash. Chapman joined the Dash on May 9 via a trade with the North Carolina Courage and started in 15 games for Houston as the team finished with a 9-10-5 record. Prince scored a goal and tallied two assists in 20 appearances for Houston this season.
