The Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash will honor men and women in uniform during Armed Forces Appreciation nights at BBVA Compass Stadium this season. The Dynamo will honor our armed forces on Saturday, July 2 when they take on the Philadelphia Union; and the Dash will do so on Sunday, September 11 when they host the Boston Breakers.
Individuals, companies or groups can support Armed Forces Appreciation Night by donating blocks of 10, 25 or 50 tickets for local military families to enjoy a game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Please visit HoustonDynamo.com/armedforces for more information.
“We look forward to honoring the men and women who serve our country,” said Dynamo and Dash president Chris Canetti. “Those who serve our country do so much for each of us and being able to show them our appreciation is a tremendous privilege.”
Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 713-276-GOAL or at the BBVA Compass Stadium box office. The Dynamo match will be televised live on ROOT SPORTS, and it will be broadcast on radio by SportsRadio 610 AM and KLAT 1010 AM in English and Spanish, respectively. The Dash match will be live streamed through the NWSL YouTube channel and on HoustonDashSoccer.com/Live.
This year will mark the eighth annual Armed Forces Appreciation night for the Dynamo and the 3rd annual for the Dash. Both teams look to continue the tradition of giving back, as more than 8,000 tickets have been donated to armed forces members and their families on behalf of our fans and corporate partners.
