HOUSTON (April 20, 2024) –Houston Dash acquired $35,000 in Allocation Money from Portland Thorns FC in a trade for goalkeeper Emily Alvardo, both teams announced today. The Dash will receive up to $50,000 in Intra-League Transfer Funds or Allocation Money if certain performance metrics are met
Alvarado joined the Dash on April 7, 2023, after spending two seasons with Stade de Reims in France. She appeared in two games for the Dash last year during the UKG Challenge Cup. She finished with six saves in her debut against Racing Louisville FC on June 14, 2023.
