The Houston Dash acquired the Orlando Pride’s natural second-round draft pick in the 2019 NWSL College Draft for the rights of defender Poliana, the club announced today.
The Brazilian defender joined the club in 2016 from Icelandic club Stjarnan, where she won the 2015 Iceland Women’s Cup. Poliana, 26, played in 37 games for Houston where she scored five goals and tallied two assists.
