The Houston Dash announced an updated preseason schedule to prepare for their 10th campaign in the National Women’s Soccer League, the team announced today.
The Dash will travel to San Diego, Calif. at the beginning of March to train and play in a pair of closed-door friendlies against San Diego Wave FC and Kansas City Current.
“Our trip to California will provide our team with a change of scenery after several weeks of hard work at Houston Sports Park,” Dash general manager Alex Singer said. “Playing against league opponents and some of the league's best sides gets us highly competitive matches and will help us better prepare for the start of the regular season.”
The Dash return to Houston for another tune up before the regular season on March 11 against Texas Christian University in a scrimmage at Shell Energy Stadium.
Houston is training at Houston Sports Park this week as the team continues to prepare for the 2023 NWSL regular season home opener on March 26 against Racing Louisville FC. Tickets for the game are available for purchase here.
