HOUSTON (Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024)- The National Women’s Soccer League and the Houston Dash announced the full 2024 regular season schedule earlier today. The Dash season, powered by Shell Energy, will consist of 26 regular season home and away games. Houston will open the regular season on Saturday, March 16 on the road against North Carolina Courage.

The Dash return home to Shell Energy Stadium for the first time in 2024 for a rematch of last season’s home opener on Saturday, March 23 against Racing Louisville FC at 7:30 p.m. CT. The Dash are 6-2-3 (WLD) all-time in all competitions against Racing Louisville FC, which began league play in 2021. The match will be the first chance for Dash fans to experience further stadium updates, including an enhanced pitch side seating experience.

Individual-match tickets for all home matches will be available via SeatGeek, the club’s official ticket provider. Pricing varies by seat location and match, but tickets are available for as low as $12 while supplies last, making the Dash experience the one of the best values in Houston sports.
Each match offers a carefully curated taste of Houston through 10 local restaurant partners serving signature dishes at Shell Energy Stadium. The 26-game regular season schedule includes home-and-away matches against all NWSL teams. Early marquee home matchups include reigning NWSL Champion NJ/NY Gotham FC on Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. CT. and NWSL Shield winning San Diego Wave FC on Saturday, June 22 a 7 p.m. CT.
Houston will be back on the road and headed to a new city on Saturday, Mach 30 to face expansion side Bay FC at 6:30 p.m. CT on Scripps’ ION Network. The match will be the first of 14 regular season games to be nationally broadcast as part of the landmark media partnerships with CBS Sports, ESPN, Prime Video and Scripps Sports which was announced last November.
The league will have a CBA-mandated league break from July 8 to 14. Upon completion of the mandatory break, the NWSL will break from league play from July 15 to August 18 while the Paris 2024 Olympics are staged.
The Dash return to regular season play with back-to-back home games at Shell Energy Stadium against Orlando Pride on Friday, Aug. 23 with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. CT. Houston will welcome expansion side Utah Royals to the Space City for the first time on Saturday, Aug. 31 beginning at 8:30 p.m. CT.
All but one regular season home matches are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday from March through November.
The Dash will host Bay FC on Decision Day at Shell Energy Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8:30 p.m. CT to close out the 2024 NWSL regular season.
As part of the league’s expanded playoff format, eight clubs will qualify for the 2024 NWSL Playoffs, which will now consist of four quarterfinal matches and eliminate byes to the semifinals. The quarterfinal round will take place the weekend of November 9-10 ahead of the semifinal round set for the weekend of November 16-17. The 2024 campaign will conclude with the NWSL Championship on November 23.
Beginning this season, 118 matches will be distributed across the following partner platforms:
- The NWSL will begin each regular-season weekend with Friday night matches on Prime Video.
- Each Saturday night that follows will include a double-header on Scripps’-owned ION network, available over-the-air in 123 million homes.
- A package of regular season matches will air on the CBS Television Network and stream live on Paramount+, with additional matches airing on CBS Sports Network.
- ESPN will air a package of matches across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Deportes (Spanish). All NWSL matches on ESPN platforms and on ABC will stream live on ESPN+ in English and Spanish. The package also includes English, Spanish and Portuguese-language rights in Latin America.
The remaining matches will be available on NWSL+, the league’s first-ever direct-to-consumer
streaming platform. NWSL+ is free to all fans tuning in to matches across the U.S. and available to download on all iOS/Android devices, as well as streaming TV distributors Apple TV, Fire TV
and Roku. In addition to match coverage, highlights, select replays and additional league and
club content will also be available for free on the app.
