The Houston Dash have announced a scrimmage against Baylor University at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11 the at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field in Waco.
This scrimmage is in preparation for Houston’s next match against the Washington Spirit on Aug. 18 at BBVA Compass Stadium. The match was originally scheduled for May 27, but the match was postponed due to inclement weather around the stadium.
Tickets for the match on Aug. 18 have been reissued and fans can contact their service representative or the Dash service team at 713-276-GOAL for additional information.
This will be the second scrimmage between the two teams this year. Baylor traveled to Houston Sports Park last March for the Dash’s first preseason game of the year. Rachel Daly finished with two goals and an assist in the 4-2 Houston victory. Texas Tech products Janine Beckie and Caity Heap also scored for Houston.
