June marks the beginning of Pride Month, an annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. Given how integral and important Pride is to Dash players, staff and fans, the team has set up numerous initiatives to make this month as big and bright as possible.
Houston Dash Bingo Night at Pearl Bar
The Houston Dash is teaming up with Pearl Bar for Pride Month. Come out on Thursday, June 9th for Houston Dash Bingo Night. Play a round or two of bingo with your favorite Dash players, and you can also enter a drawing to win a Rachel Daly bobblehead and one of our City of Fútbol kits.
Fans can also purchase a Pearl Bar Ticket Package for the Houston Dash’s Pride Night. For $25, buy a ticket to the game and receive a Pride t-shirt as well as entry to a pre-game panel led by the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
Pride Night presented by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
Festivities kick off when we host Pride Night on Sunday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m. CT. The first 2,000 fans will receive a free Houston Dash Pride hat, courtesy of MD Anderson.
New Dash merch will be available at the Team Store including tank tops as well as Pride numbers for jersey customizations.
Around the concourse, there will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate Pride. Banners with key moments in Pride history will be hanging throughout the stadium. Stop by section 112 to take a photo in front of an 11ft rainbow-inspired balloon wall, courtesy of MD Anderson.
At halftime, the Houston Dash will recognize LGBT Chamber of Commerce president Tammi Wallace, Montrose Grace Place executive director Courtney Sellers and Montrose Grace Place program director Chaunteion Hall for their work in the community.

Pride Panel led by the LGBT Chamber of Commerce
The Pride Panel led by the LGBT Chamber will consist of various members from Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash organizations, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations. The discussion will be held at PNC Stadium before the game on June 12. Tickets are required.
Dash Pride Auction
The Houston Dash players will be wearing special Pride numbers on the back of their jerseys specifically for this game. These jerseys will later be auctioned off by Dynamo Charities in the DASH Auction app with proceeds benefitting Montrose Grace Place. You can learn more about the club’s work with MGP here.
The SIX
Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash will host a special edition of The SIX series focused on allyship in the context of Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community. The SIX is an online roundtable discussion featuring six people with varying perspectives on a topic of particular relevance. The six-person panel typically includes a player from the Dynamo and the Dash, a representative of the Club’s front office, members of the local community and a host with a level of expertise or engagement on the topic.
