Houston Dash forward Veronica Latsko will miss the remainder of the 2019 NWSL season with a left knee injury, the team announced today. The forward suffered the injury during training earlier this week.
Latsko scored four goals and tallied two assists during the 2018 NWSL season, her first year in the league. The forward made her Dash debut in a 1-1 draw against the Chicago Red Stars on March 25, 2018. The 2018 NWSL draft pick played in 20 games with eight starts last season. The forward has three appearances for the club this year.
The Dash will travel to Utah this weekend to play their second road game of the season. This will be the fourth all-time matchup between the Dash and the Royals with Utah leading the series 0-2-1 since becoming a member of the league in 2018. The game is set to kick off at 2:30 CDT at Rio Tinto Stadium and will be streamed live on Yahoo! Sports.
