With the NWSL Challenge Cup set to kick off this Sunday when the Dash take on the Chicago Red Starts at PNC Stadium at 6:00 p.m., it is time for fans to meet some of their favorite players on the team.
All week long, Dash players will take part in several virtual events ranging from social media takeovers to Dash 365-member exclusive roundtables, all as a part of Dash Kickoff Week.
The events start later today, when goalkeeper Lindsey Harris hosts an Instagram Q&A session. The NCAA champion goalie will be available after the Dash wrap up training to answer questions as she prepares for her second season in the NWSL.
Kickoff Week continues Wednesday, when veteran Dash forward Rachel Daly teams up with Dash rookie forward Ryan Gareis for a Twitter Spaces session. Later in the day, Dash forward and Houston-native Michaela Abam will go live on Instagram to talk about what it means to represent her hometown Club, playing for the Cameroonian national team, and much more.
On Thursday at 6:30 p.m., defender Julia Ashley, goalkeepers Jane Campbell and Ella Dederick, and midfielder Shea Groom will take part in a Dash 365 Member-exclusive roundtable discussion. During this roundtable, one lucky Member will receive one of the unreleased new Dash away kits.
To conclude Kickoff Week, Mexican national team forward Maria Sanchez and Dash midfielder Makamae Gomera-Stevens will do an Instagram takeover on Friday.
