The Houston Dash have hired Eddie Robinson to join head coach Vera Pauw's technical staff as an assistant coach, the club announced today.
The Orlando, Florida native joins Pauw's technical staff, which includes goalkeeper coach Blair Quinn and video analyst Shilene Booysen.
During a 11-year career in Major League Soccer, Robinson won four MLS Cup titles as a player, the last two with the Houston Dynamo in 2006 and 2007.
Robinson will be on the bench with the Dash tonight in Illinois as they face Sam Kerr, Julie Ertz and the Chicago Red Stars for the third time this season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the match will be streamed live on the go90 app or NWSLSoccer.com for fans outside of the U.S.
