The Houston Dash revealed their alternative kit for the 2017 season and announced that the team will debut the uniform this Saturday at the Maryland SoccerPlex against the Washington Spirit.
The new kit features Space City Blue as the primary color. The jersey, featuring the iconic BBVA Compass logo across the chest, also includes white accents on the sleeve and along the side of the jersey. Blue shorts and white socks complete the classic look that will debut this weekend. BHP Billiton’s logo will adorn the back of the away kit just as it does on the orange home kits.
The Dash road kit was designed with a light color palette to offset the various dark home uniforms throughout the league. Houston is expected to wear the kit on the road against the Washington Spirit and Portland Thorns FC to avoid a clash with the home club kits.
This is the third alternative kit in franchise history and will be available at Houston-area retailers.
Houston returns to BBVA Compass Stadium at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 to host Sky Blue FC in its first Lifetime NWSL Game of the Week.
