The Houston Dash will have the 15th and 33rd selection in the 2017 NWSL College Draft that will begin at 2 p.m. CDT tomorrow at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Convention.
Houston acquired the 15th pick from the Boston Breakers in a trade for Allysha Chapman last November. Houston was allocated the 33rd pick as a result of the final standings of the 2016 NWSL regular season.
The Dash traded their first-round pick to Seattle Reign FC last October for the player rights of Amber Brooks; their second-round pick was sent to the Western New York Flash for Becca Moros; and the team’s natural third-round pick was traded to Sky Blue FC for the right to sign Chioma Ubogago.
The draft will be live-streamed on Youtube and the league’s Facebook page beginning at 2 p.m. CT.
