HOUSTON (Thursday, May 20, 2019) - The Houston Dash acquired forward Jorian Baucom as a national team replacement player, the club announced today.
Baucom joined the Dash on trial after completing a successful collegiate career at both at LSU and the University of Colorado. During her three years at LSU, she was named to the first-team all-SEC team, NSCAA first-team all-South region, and finished her junior year ranked sixth in the SEC in goals.
The Arizona native spent her senior year at Colorado, where she became the second Buffalo to record 30 or more points in a season. Baucom’s 12 goals on the season were tied for the second-most goals in CU history, ranking fourth in the Pac-12.
Baucom also brings international experience in national team camps with the U.S. U-15, U-16, U-19 and U-20 national teams. The forward was a part of the player pools for U-14, U-17 and U-18 teams.
The Houston Dash are back in action on Saturday, June 22 at 6:00 p.m. CDT against the Washington Spirit at the Maryland Soccerplex. The game will be streamed live on Yahoo! Sports.
