The Houston Dash have signed midfielders Michaela Hahn and Allison Wetherington, the club announced today.
Hahn returns to the NWSL after a season in the Cypriot First Division with Apollon Ladies F.C. The Florida State product was selected with the ninth overall selection in the 2016 NWSL College Draft by the Western New York Flash and scored one goal in 13 games during their championship run. The midfielder also won a national title with the Seminoles in 2014 and was named to the U-23 USWNT team in 2016 for the Istria Cup.
Wetherington appeared in 76 games over four seasons for the University of Portland, where she scored 13 goals and tallied 20 assists. The midfielder was named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team in her sophomore and senior seasons and All-WCC Second Team as a freshman and junior. Wetherington featured for the U.S. Women’s Youth National Teams at the U-18 and U-20 levels.
