Houston Dash will return to Shell Energy Stadium on Saturday, June 17 to host OL Reign. Houston is set to celebrate its 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup bound players who have been named to their respective national teams in front of the largest crowd of the season.

The Dash enters Saturday’s match against OL Reign on a three-game unbeaten streak with two wins and a hard-fought draw against NJ/NY Gotham FC, last Sunday at home. The game marked the club’s 10th consecutive league match without a loss when scoring at least one goal. Since the beginning of last season, the Dash have scored in 22 regular season matches, losing just twice (W14 D6). Forward María Sánchez scored her sixth league goal for the Dash in the team’s draw with Gotham FC. Becoming the third player from Mexico to score more than five league goals with a single NWSL team, joining Dash teammate Diana Ordóñez (11 with North Carolina) and Mónica Ocampo (11 with Sky Blue).

OL Reign currently sits in fourth place with a 6-1-4 overall record with a win and a loss through their last two matches. The Reign enters the game following a 2-1 home win over Kansas City Current. Defender Sophia Huerta and forward Jordyn Huitema both scored in the win over the Current. OL Reign fell at home to rival Portland Thorns on June 3.

Houston will travel to California for the first time this regular season to take on Angel City FC at BMO Stadium.

Here are three key points ahead of Wednesday’s match:

  1. CAMPBELL’S RECORD-BREAKING SEASON: Goalkeeper Jane Campbell continues to have a record-breaking campaign. Earlier this year the shot stopper from Georgia hit 10,000 regular season minutes played in the NWSL. Campbell is set to hit another milestone this weekend where she is expected to break the club record for most regular season appearances. Campbell tied Kealia Ohai-Watt for the record in the match against NJ/NY Gotham FC on Saturday, June 11. Campbell made her Dash debut on April 22, 2017, on the road against Seattle Reign FC.
  1. WORLD CUP BOUND: Four Houston Dash players have been named to rosters for the 2023 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand/Australia. Canadians Sophie Schmidt, Allysha Chapman and Nichelle Prince were all named to the provisional roster for camp leading into the tournament. Forward Michelle Alozie was named to the Nigerian Women’s National Team roster on Friday morning.
  1. RAPINOE’S PRODUCTIVITY: The Reign are second in the league with the most goals scored at 19. USWNT and OL Reign forward Megan Rapinoe has been involved in five of those goals scoring one goal and four assists – which is second most in the league.
