The Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash will host a doubleheader on June 11 at BBVA Compass Stadium. The Dash will host the Western New York Flash in NWSL action at 6:30 p.m. before the Dynamo face the Laredo Heat of the USL Premier Development League (PDL) at 9 p.m. in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. A single ticket will provide admission for both games. Dash season ticket holders and fans with tickets for June 11 do not need to purchase additional tickets or exchange their current tickets. The Dash game was originally scheduled for 8 p.m., but will now begin at 6:30 p.m. to accommodate the doubleheader.
The Dynamo will meet the Heat at 9 p.m. in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Laredo defeated the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, 3-2 on Wednesday night to advance to the fourth round.
Last year, the Dynamo defeated FC Tucson, in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup before falling to FC Dallas in the fourth round.
The Dynamo continue their three-game road stretch against the Colorado Rapids on Sunday before returning to BBVA Compass Stadium on June 6 to face Sporting Kansas City at 7:30 p.m. The Dash are also within a three-game road swing, with a visit to Western New York on Saturday night.
