Houston Dash goalkeeper Jane Campbell was named to the U.S. Women’s National Team roster for two friendlies in April, U.S. Soccer announced today.
The USWNT will face Mexico in a two-game series that begins in Jacksonville, Florida on April 5. Campbell and the reigning FIFA World Cup Champions travel to Houston on April 7 for the final game of the series at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets for the match at BBVA Compass Stadium are available at BBVACompassStadium.com/events.
The goalkeeper earned her first senior cap with the national team last April at BBVA Compass Stadium as the USWNT defeated Russia 5-1. The 22-year-old earned her second senior cap in the USWNT’s 6-0 victory over South Korea last October as a second-half substitute. Campbell finished her rookie season with the Dash with three shutouts and 65 saves over 16 games, the most since the club’s inaugural season.
Campbell will be available for Sunday’s home opener and the beginning of Houston’s fifth season in the National Women’s Soccer League. Season tickets are available for the 2018 NWSL Season, starting at just $192. For additional information, visit HoustonDashSoccer.com/2018.
