Where to start?
I came to the Dash in 2020, just before COVID hit. It had been a whirlwind experience - one of the hardest times in our lives combined with starting something new, in a new place. But to my relief, I was welcomed with open arms. I had such an incredible first year, topped off by winning the Challenge Cup. My dreams were coming true.
Sometimes when you achieve something you've wanted for so long, it can feel like things are inevitably going to crash back to reality. That hasn’t been my experience. Day after day, I have just felt like this is such an incredible environment and an amazing team. I can't think of anywhere else I’d want to be.
My 100th league appearance is a milestone I am so proud of. To have that here, celebrate with teammates, and have my friends and family come in to town was just something I’ll never forget. I hope more people can experience this feeling (maybe I can reach 200 here?).
Signing here for the next three years shows that I'm fully investing in this club. We’re building something special, and I want to be a part of the future success. We have all the parts that are needed to make our first playoffs - this is truly a championship level club. I'm just one cog in the wheel. It's a whole collective, on and off the field.
I wanted to solidify my plans with the Dash before things got crazy in the offseason. No testing the waters, I know where I’m meant to be. I want to plan for my future, have my family and friends around me, and celebrate this moment.
