Who is your hero?
For soccer, I’d say Messi. He’s my idol. I think he’s the best player in the world. Being able to watch him I try to imitate what he does on the field. He is my favorite player.
What motivates you to work hard?
I think that by being the underdog you always have to work hard, do as much extra work as you can. I don’t mind being the underdog because I know some people will underestimate me and I’m fine with that because I know that I’ve worked hard and committed to putting in the extra time.
What’s your favorite soccer movie?
I like Goal, that’s a good one.
What’s your favorite book?
Anything by Nicholas Sparks really, they’re kind of the cliché love books but I like those.
What is one place in the world you would like to visit?
Italy would be really cool, but really anywhere overseas. I’ve only visited Spain and I love that country. I haven’t seen too many other countries so honestly I’d be open to going just about anywhere.
Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
Angelina Jolie, some people say that I look like her so I’ll pick her. Also, she was a badass in Tomb Raider.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
I really want to become a physical therapist, so I have to go to PT school and that takes about three years. I’d also add traveling.
