Forward Michelle Alozie will join the Nigeria Women’s National Team for their upcoming camp in Kobe, Japan. The forward joins Nigeria after securing a home playoff spot in the Dash's 2-1 victory over the Washington Spirit. Nigeria will face off against 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup champions Japan on Thursday, October 6. Kickoff is slated for 2:25 am CT.
The Houston Dash are set to make their first playoff appearance in club history after finishing fourth in NWSL standings. The Dash will kick off the 2022 NWSL Playoffs powered by Shell Energy against the Kansas City Current at 4 p.m. CDT on Sunday, Oct. 16 at PNC Stadium. Houston’s quarterfinal match will be live streamed nationally on Paramount+.
