Who is your hero?
My real-life heroes are my parents. My dad’s composure and my mom’s openness stand out and they are just very caring, respectful, thoughtful –always aware of other people and what’s going on. They’re like perfect team people. I love being part of a team. Now that I reflect more on stuff I see how much of them I see in me as a person and how I approach life. My dad’s appetite for learning is just unbelievable and he sort of taught me how to learn, how to approach problems and how to keep your attention to a task and remain committed. My mom is just very supportive and open so when things may not go the right way they have always shown me that there is another way. So, I think that I am who I am because of them. I don’t know if it’s a deliberate motivator but I do think that it’s something that they built in me and natured in me from a young age.
