As the NWSL prepares for the 2020 season with the NWSL Draft this week, our Dash players in Australia are rolling right into Week 10 of W-League play.
Making up for a Week 8 match, midfielder Sofia Huerta, forward Veronica Latsko and Sydney FC took on Canberra United. In a dominate 4-0 performance, Latsko scored her first goal of Sydney FC. Latsko’s goal was the second out of four goals total and it was also her first goal post ACL injury.
This week, all our Dash players abroad will be in action. In a quick turnaround, Latsko and Huerta’s Sydney FC will host Brisbane Roar on Thursday, January 16 at 2:30 am CDT. Midfielder Haley Hanson and the Melbourne Victory are on the road to take on defender Amber Brooks and Adelaide United on Saturday, January 18 at 2:30 am CDT. On the same day, defender Ari Romero and Perth Glory will take on the Western Sydney Wanderers at 11:00 pm CDT on ESPN+,
