The forward is tied with Natasha Dowie and Sam Kerr for the golden boot. Amber Brooks won seven of eight duels as she earned her sixth start for the Reds. Huerta scored her first goal of the season off a cross from Caitlin Foord.
Clare Polkinghorne and Brisbane Roar defeated Melbourne Victory in a seven-goal thriller at Lions Stadium on Saturday. With the 4-3 victory, Brisbane reached third place in the W-League ladder and gave the league leaders their first defeat of the season.
