“This is a truly exciting time for our organization and fans,” said Dynamo president Chris Canetti. “We are all looking forward to the opening of our new stadium and the substantially improved experience it will provide. Opening season ticket sales to the public is a milestone in the process. We are pleased with the early results from the pre-sale window and expect the demand and interest to remain at an all-time high.”

Season ticket pricing ranges from $250 among the club’s supporters’ groups and $400 in the 200 level behind each goal to $900 in the 100 level at midfield. 20 sections in the new Dynamo Stadium have already sold out for the 2012 season including the club’s premium seats. “It’s great to see the excitement surrounding the new stadium as we get ready to move in to our new home in 2012. For us, as a team, it’s very important to have a strong fan base. Houston has some of the best fans in MLS, and I’m sure this stadium will be full of people dressed in orange when we play our first home game at the new stadium and beyond,” said Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear.
Through an exclusive pre-sale window for current season ticket holders, more season tickets have already been purchased for the 2012 season than in any of the previous six seasons. To date, the current season ticket number marks a 22 percent increase over the 2012 season.
“This is a very important moment for our organization,” added Dynamo captain Brian Ching. “I’ve been excited about having a stadium built in downtown Houston for a long time, so much so that I’ve already purchased my seats for next year. This is also a great opportunity for fans to secure their seats in what will surely be an exciting venue to play in.”
