The Houston Dynamo Academy, presented by Statoil, was off for the second consecutive weekend, but the Dynamo Pre-Academy teams were in action on Sunday against Dallas Texans. The squads went 2-0-1, with the U-15s extending their unbeaten streak in league play to 17 games. All games were played at Ross Stewart Soccer Complex in Farmers Branch, Texas.
The Dynamo U-15s won for the third time in their past four games on Sunday. Deniz Sipahi scored the lone goal in a 1-0 Dynamo victory.
The Dynamo U-14s rebounded from a 2-0 defeated to Texans Soccer Club with a 2-0 win over Dallas Texans. Hector Ramirez (pictured, above) and Matthew Alzate provided the goals for Houston.
The Dynamo U-13s had their three-game winning streak snapped with a scoreless draw against Dallas Texans. The Dynamo have not allowed a goal in their past four matches.
All five Dynamo teams will be in action this weekend against Texans Soccer Club at the Houston Amateur Sports Park. The U-18s will kick off at 2 p.m. on Saturday with the U-16s to follow at 4:30 p.m. On Sunday, the U-13s will kick off at 10 a.m. with the U-14s and U-15s to follow at 12 noon.
