The Houston Dynamo Academy returned to action last weekend after winter break, taking on the Dynamo Youth Club in a return to Development Academy action.
U-19 – Win 2-0
U-17 – Win 2-1: Daniel Coronado scored a brace in 55 minutes of action to push the Dynamo Academy to victory.
U-15 – Win 5-2: Nelson Mandina scored twice in the opening half hour, Bryce Willoughby tallied a brace of his own and Jorge Rivera tacked on a late goal to secure the win.
U-14 – Win 4-2: After conceding four minutes into the match, Joseph Farouz responded two minutes later and then took the lead with another goal just before halftime. Christian Castaneda and D'Alessandro Herrera added goals in the second half.
U-13 – Win 3-1: Iyke Dafe opened the scoring in the 14th minute, by Dynamo Youth responded with a goal of their own three minutes later. Zacarias Escobar-Bowie and Ricardo Garcia scored in the 63rd and 67th minute, respectively, to secure a win late in the 70 minute match.
U-11 and U-10s Dominate Texans Madness Tournament
The Dynamo Academy U-11 and U-10s took part in the Texans Madness Tournament over the weekend in Humble, with two teams participating in both age groups. Three of the four teams came away as division champions, with both U-10 teams playing in the same division. The U-11 "White" team won their three games by a combined score of 17-0 in 9v9 matches.
