Houston Dynamo defender Adolfo Machado has been named to Panama's provisional roster for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, it was announced today. The initial 35-player list will be whittled down to the final roster of 23 players on June 4.
Machado, 33, appeared in 12 matches for Panama during World Cup qualification. This would be his first World Cup if he is named to the final roster.
Panama has been drawn to Group G, where they will face Belgium (June 18), England (June 24) and Tunisia (June 28).
