Houston Dynamo defender Conor Donovan claimed the USL's Goal of the Week with 45% of the fan vote after scoring a long-distance blast with the Rio Grande Valley FC Toros against Las Vegas Lights FC last Saturday.
Donovan ran onto a loose ball coming out of the box after a scramble in front of goal and lashed it into the upper 90 to give RGV the lead just before the end of the first half.
It was Donovan's first goal of the USL season, and just weeks after scoring his first goal for the Dynamo in the BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup against CF Monterrey.
