The Houston Dynamo and Portland Timbers played to a scoreless tie in a preseason scrimmage Saturday at Grande Sports World in Arizona. The Dynamo finished 2-0-1 in three scrimmages this week in Arizona.
Against Portland on Saturday, the Dynamo played two squads 45 minutes each in extremely windy, dusty conditions that made the game difficult for both teams. Cam Weaver had Houston's lone shot on goal of the game in the second half.
