Houston Dynamo Academy midfielder Marcelo Palomino has been retained in the U.S. U-17 MNT Residency Program for the 2017 spring semester, head coach John Hackworth announced.
Palomino, 15, is one of 28 returning players from the fall semester in the group of 32 players overall for the spring and one of a handful born in 2001.
The group in Bradenton, Florida is focused on the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup, held in India in October. First, the U.S. must advance out of the qualifying tournament set to take place from April 14-May 8 in Panama.
