The Houston Dynamo Academy Under -16 team will host the second stage of the Generation adidas Cup beginning Friday at Houston Sports Park. The Dynamo Academy is grouped in the Central Region and will face the Chicago Fire Academy on Friday (5 p.m.), Columbus Crew SC on Saturday (3 p.m.) and the Colorado Rapids on Monday (12 p.m.)
The Generation adidas Cup is run by Major League Soccer and has featured international clubs in past editions, including 2014 champion Stoke City. Game regulations include 35-minute halves and group stage games include penalty shootouts in the event of a draw in regulation.

The Dynamo Academy U-16s are 4-6-4 (16 points) this season in the U.S. Development Academy.
