The Dynamo Academy U-18s dropped their first game of the playoffs to Seattle Sounders FC 3-1 on Wednesday night. The Dynamo gave up a quick goal and spent the rest of the game trying to make the comeback.
After being down 2-0 at halftime, the team made a few adjustments to the lineup to try and force more offensive pressure. While the changes provided several scoring chances, it wasn’t until the 84th minute that midfielder Gabriel Ruiz put the Dynamo on the board, bringing the score to the final 3-1.
The Dynamo look to rebound and keep their playoff hopes alive when they take on the North Carolina Fusion Friday night at 7:30. Both teams are in need of the three points if they hope to move on from the group stage.
