The U.S. Soccer Development Academy will welcome 16 new clubs with 32 teams to its ranks for the 2018-19 season, among them a Dynamo Academy West U-12 team. An additional 37 teams from existing clubs will also join the elite player development league.
The Dynamo Academy West team is the 17th Dynamo/Dash affiliated team in the Development Academy. Also participating are the Houston Dynamo Academy (U-12, U-13, U-14, U-15, U-17, U-19), Houston Dash Academy (U-14, U-15, U-17, U-19), and the Dynamo Youth Academy (U-12, U-13, U-14, U-15, U-17, U-19).
The Dynamo Academy West team is located in the Spring Branch area through a partnership with Dynamo Academy affiliate Total Football Club.
