The Houston Dynamo will play Mexican club Santos Laguna in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, to be played March 2013.
Although the Dynamo won Group 3, they finished as the seventh overall seed and drew the second seeded Santos, who won Group 1 with a 4-0-0 record. Santos is the reigning LigaMX Clausura champion and the 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League runner-up.
The club is led by U.S. men's national team striker Herculez Gomez (pictured, above) and former Mexican national team goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez.
