The Force awakens at BBVA Compass Stadium on Friday, May 12 when the Houston Dynamo host Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Star Wars Night. The match between the Dynamo and Vancouver will kick off at 8:00 p.m. CDT.
Characters from the immensely popular Lucas Films movie franchise will appear throughout the night, and fans can get in on the fun by purchasing a special Star Wars Pack, which includes a ticket to the game and a limited-edition Star Wars-themed Dynamo scarf for $36.
Fans are encouraged to wear their best Star Wars costumes to the game. Before game day, fans can visit HoustonDynamo.com/StarWars and register for an opportunity to win a free digital download of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” courtesy of the Dynamo and BackstageOL.com.
Regular match tickets are available beginning at $25 online at HoustonDynamo.com, by phone at 713-276-GOAL or at the BBVA Compass Stadium box office. The match will be televised live on KUBE TV Ch. 57, and it will be broadcast on radio by CBS Radio 650 AM and KLAT 1010 AM in English and Spanish, respectively.
