The Houston Dynamo have waived defender Jordan Graye, the team announced today.
The 24-year-old Graye was acquired from the Portland Timbers in December in exchange for a 2014 draft pick. His only appearance for the Dynamo came in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup qualifying match in April, and he also appeared in five games in the MLS Reserve League.
The Dynamo are next in action on Sunday night, taking on the defending champion Colorado Rapids on the road in a match that will be nationally televised on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. After that match, the Dynamo will play four of their next five games at home in July, beginning on Saturday, July 9, when they host Toronto FC at Robertson Stadium. Tickets are available by calling (713) 276-GOAL or logging on to HoustonDynamo.com.
