Houston Dynamo FC forwards Corey Baird and Fafa Picault were named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week this afternoon.
Picault scored a brace in Houston’s 3-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Tuesday evening at PNC Stadium, earning him a spot in the Starting XI for this week’s Team of the Week. This is the second MLS Team of the Week honor for the forward, who also scored a brace in Week 5 against Inter Miami CF on April 2.
Baird is the ninth Dynamo player to earn Team of the Week honors this season, earning a spot on the bench for this week’s team. The forward finished with two assists on Tuesday and created four chances.
Houston closes the week at Banc of California Stadium when they face Los Angeles Football Club on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 9:30 p.m. CT.
