With the holiday season underway and Dynamo fans scrambling to find the perfect gift for sons, daughters, nieces, and nephews, the Houston Dynamo are offering the perfect opportunity for aspiring soccer players. The Houston Dynamo Fantasy Camp will run from December 20-23 and will provide the unique chance for youngsters to stand in the shoes of their favorite Dynamo players.
Campers will receive their own personal locker in a Robertson Stadium locker room, a personalized Dynamo training uniform, and four days of training with the Dynamo’s nationally licensed coaches. Participants will also learn how to handle interviews, eat nutritious team meals, and experience other parts of professional sports.

“We are pleased to offer this opportunity to members of the Houston community,” Dynamo President of Business Operations Chris Canetti said. “As a kid, every soccer player dreams of lacing up their cleats and walking on to a professional soccer field. With this fantasy camp, campers will have the opportunity to do just that and have lasting memories that they can cherish and hold with them as they continue their soccer careers.”
The training sessions will be run by Dynamo Director of Youth Development James Clarkson and will feature guest appearances by Dynamo first team players. Each camper will take home a team photo and an individual photo and will receive a ticket to the Houston Dynamo’s 2011 home opener.
