As food insecurity is one of the Club’s five focus pillars in the local community, Dynamo and Dash Charities, the Club’s official 501(c)(3) non-profit arm, supported staff members from Houston-area Kroger stores along with staff and players from the Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash who volunteered to pack meals for Houston’s underserved kids.

Dynamo player Tate Schmitt and Dash player Emily Curran were in attendance, CRO Jeff Stewart and VP of Community Engagement, Valerie Holland were also there representing the Club, along with Kids’ Meals CEO, Beth Harp.

Kroger donated the packaged meals to Kids’ Meals Houston for distribution throughout the city. At this year’s event, more than 10,000 meals were packaged and distributed to children around Houston.
