Now is your chance to play on the same fields the Houston Dynamo train on. Houston Amateur Sports Park is hosting Copa Univision August 18-19, and registration is now open.
This 5-v-5 soccer tournament will feature eight teams in each male/female division: U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and Open Adult. Each roster of eight players will play a minimum of three games and receive tickets to watch the Houston Dynamo take on the Columbus Crew August 19 at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The winning teams in each division will be honored at halftime of this game, and winners in the adult divisions will receive $2,000 in prize money.
“This is a great opportunity for people to play soccer on some of the nicest fields in the Houston area,” said Dynamo soccer programs manager Adrian Moses. “It should be a great weekend of competition for everyone involved.”
