The Houston Dash waived defender Bruna Benites, the club announced today.
The defender joined Houston on Nov. 30 2016 from Avaldsnes IL in Norway. Benites made her debut in Houston’s 2-0 opening day victory over the Chicago Red Stars on April 15, 2017.
The former Brazilian Women’s National Team captain played in 14 games for Houston and joined Esporte Clube Iranduba da Amazônia this offseason on loan.
