The Houston Dynamo Youth Programs have announced their schedule for their camps and training, which this year will continue to feature goalkeeper-specific programs, a Residential Camp and the reintroduction of the Center of Excellence Program.
The 2020 Camps and Training programs include Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps, and continuous Training Programs at O Athletik with a focus on Player Development. The residential Camp will be held at The Village School for the 3rd year in a row. Overnight residential camp options as well as commuter options available. Centers of Excellence for field players will operate as weekly training sessions at select locations around Houston, utilizing an exclusive curriculum. The Center of Excellence offers the most competitive curriculum in the Houston area, focusing on individual technique and game awareness.
The Center of Excellence, Directed by Justin Neese - Foundation Phase Lead/ U12 Head Coach, is open to boys born between 2010 and 2014, and operate at different locations across Houston throughout the year. They also serve as a pathway for standout male players to be identified for the Houston Dynamo Academy, the top male youth soccer program in the area. Current Academy players who came through the COE programs include Academy Standouts, Alex Borsos, Hans Leza, Reese Miller, Mateo Pinilla, and other current Houston Dynamo Academy players.
